OpenAI says Elon Musk has suddenly changed direction on what he’s seeking in his lawsuit against the startup in a “legal ambush” just weeks before trial.

In a court filing late Friday night, OpenAI said the objectives Musk proposed earlier in the week appear to be aimed at “sandbagging the defendants and injecting chaos into the proceedings, while trying to recast his public narrative about his lawsuit.”

Elon Reeve Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria, South Africa's administrative capital.[1][2] He is of British and Pennsylvania Dutch ancestry.[3][4] His mother, Maye (née Haldeman), is a model and dietitian born in Saskatchewan, Canada, and raised in South Africa.[5][6][7] Musk therefore holds both South African and Canadian citizenship from birth.[8] His father, Errol Musk, is a South African electromechanical engineer, pilot, sailor, consultant, emerald dealer, and property developer, who partly owned a rental lodge at Timbavati Private Nature Reserve.[9][10][11][12]

Spacecraft manufacturer SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, will use LG Energy Solution Ltd.'s batteries for its next-generation Starship rocket, marking its first long-term battery purchase from a third-party company, according to industry sources on Sunday.

The US company recently inked a contract with LG Energy for cylindrical lithium-ion batteries tailored to the Starship flight, expected to launch as early as 2025, the sources told The Korea Economic Daily.

The batteries are said to be used for primary and backup power supply, as well as energy storage systems.

The size and value of the supply have not been disclosed.

Previously, LG Energy had supplied batteries for SpaceX’s spacecraft in one-time deals.

SpaceX has relied mainly on self-made batteries for its flight vehicles. But as the frequency of its rocket launches increases, it has decided to turn to third-party manufacturers of high-safety batteries with a longer lifespan.

Starship is designed to be reusable much like an airplane, which can be refueled and take off again after each landing. In its first test flight in 2023, it proved to be the most massive and powerful vehicle ever to fly.

The supply contract with SpaceX will diversify LG Energy’s business beyond electric vehicle batteries and expand its partnership with companies led by Elon Musk. It supplies batteries to Tesla Inc., the world’s largest EV maker.

The South Korean company has identified the space business as a new growth engine and is developing batteries and energy storage systems suitable for spaceships and spacesuits.

In 2023, it supplied spacesuit batteries to the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In 2025, it will ship batteries for NASA’s lunar electric rover, a battery-powered rover used on the moon.

Industry officials said the supply deals with SpaceX and Tesla would raise the chances of LG Energy being chosen as a battery supplier for Tesla’s humanoid robots, which are capable of performing unsafe and repetitive tasks.

When aked about the possibility of its batteries being used for humanoid robots, LG Energy said: “We can’t confirm contracts with our customers.”

South Korea Investment Still Just a Dream

A year has passed since President Kim Dae-jung and North Korean leader Kim Jong-il held the first-ever summit meeting between North and South Korea.

South Korean corporations wholeheartedly welcomed the historic talks, thinking it could give them the inside track to the North's human and natural resources, as well as its market.

At the end of last year, the two Koreas reached a series of agreements on double tax prevention, investment guarantees, dispute resolution mechanisms and payment clearance. The agreements are awaiting ratification by the National Assembly.

But economic cooperation between the two Koreas has brought no more than a trickle of investment in the North. Not a single direct investment has been made between the two countries since the summit. In fact, most South Korean companies are cautious about getting too deeply involved with Pyongyang.

"We are not expanding our business projects in North Korea because inter-Korean relations are unstable and North Korea's intentions are unclear," said an official of LG Electronics Inc., which is leading the LG Group's North Korean project.

According to the Ministry of Unification, 152 South Korean companies are operating original equipment manufacturers in the North. Some small and medium-sized South Korean companies are expanding their role there, and corporations that received direct investment permits before the summit have completed their manufacturing plants there.

The Unification Church completed an auto repair factory near Pyongyang last September, and Taechang has opened a mineral water factory near Mount Kumgang.

And some other companies, while still not willing to invest directly in the North, are continuing to expand their interests there.

Sungnam Electronics Co. completed a light-bulb factory in Pyongyang last month. The company, which has been importing 1.5 million audio tapes every month from its Pyongyang plant, is also negotiating with North Korean authorities to start selling its tapes in the North.

Korea Core Co. set up a plant in North Korea last October that makes key parts for electricity converters. Elcanto, which produces some 10,000 shoes in North Korea every month, is also considering making handbags, purses and belts there, company officials said.

Cooperation in the information technology, or IT, field is also picking up.

Song Hye-ja, president of Wooam.com, a communication solutions provider, visited Pyongyang in March and discussed cooperation with the Choson Computer Center. The company set up a teleconferencing facility in Pyongyang in April. The South Korean government recently designated two companies, Hanabiz.com and Ntrak, as North-South IT cooperation companies.

July 2 (Reuters) - Elon Musk on Friday night broke his nine-day silence on Twitter, the social media platform he is trying to buy for $44 billion, posting a picture of him meeting Pope Francis on Thursday.

The world's richest person tweeted a picture where he can be seen standing next to the pope, captioning it: "Honored to meet @pontifex yesterday."

Musk's four teenage boys are also pictured, but not his 18-year-old transgender daughter who, on June 20 sought to change her name and sever ties with him. Musk has a total of eight children.

The purpose and location of Musk's meeting with the pope were not immediately clear.

CASE HISTORY

A Criminal Complaint was filed on August 7, 2025, charging the Defendant with Violation

of an Extended Order Against Staking or Harassment, a Category C Felony.

Counsel was appointed to represent the Defendant in the above-mentioned matter. On or about October 15, 2025, the Defendant's matter was transferred from the Dayton Justice Court to

the Canal Justice Court following the entry of the Recusal and Order of Appointment. The

Defendant appeared before the Canal Justice Court on October 28, 2025. The Defendant appeared

before the Canal Justice Court for a Status Hearing on or about December 16, 2025, and the matter 10 was bound over to the District Court for Competency Proceedings.

The Defendant has been seen before the District Court on January 5, 2026, January 26,

12 2026, February 9, 2026, and March 2, 2026. The Defendant has been deemed incompetent and a

13 recommendation for outpatient treatment has been made by providers.

Rule 46. Withdrawal or change of attorney. The attorney in an action or special proceeding may be changed at any time before judgment or final determination as follows:

After judgment or final determination, an attorney may withdraw as attorney of record at any time upon the attorney's filing a withdrawal, with or without the client's consent.

(7) Other good cause for withdrawal exists.

(c) A lawyer must comply with applicable law requiring notice to or permission of a tribunal when terminating representation. When ordered to do so by a tribunal, a lawyer shall continue representation notwithstanding good cause for terminating the representation.

(d) Upon termination of representation, a lawyer shall take steps to the extent reasonably practicable to protect a client's interests, such as giving reasonable notice to the client, allowing time for employment of other counsel, surrendering papers and property to which the client is entitled and refunding any advance payment of fee or expense that has not been earned or incurred. Introduction

The Brook Kidron is a relatively insignificant geographical feature that runs south between the eastern wall of Jerusalem and the Mount of Olives and begins near the Garden of Gethsemane. While topographically it does not appear to be very significant, it nonetheless has great Biblical significance as this study will show. The Brook Kidron is another example of a Geographical Parable that God provides in the Bible. A Geographical Parable is a real “earthly” physical place, which serves to represent a real “spiritual” place and convey a “spiritual” meaning.

The Brook Kidron is mentioned several times in the Bible, but, in each case, it provides us with a consistent theme. The theme is that the Brook Kidron is used by God in the Bible as a “typological” of “allegorical” reference to “Hell”. Can this claim be documented and proven? Indeed it can!
